    Floral, Norberto Nicola


    inglês flat, being a unique work transposed from a painting by the artist, made in wool in handloom, entitled "Floral", according to the label on the back, created by the artist Norberto Nicola (São Paulo, Brazil 1930-2007), as signed and executed by the "Atelier Douchez-Nicola" (1959-1980) of tapestries that he founded in 1959 with Jacques Douchez (Mâcon, France 1921 - São Paulo, Brazil 2012). This work was part of the 1966 exhibition "Pintura, Gravado y Tapices del Brasil" held at the "Museo de Arte Moderno" in Mexico. Norberto Nicola was a student in the early 1950s of abstract artist Samson Flexor (Soroca, Republica Moldova 1907 - São Paulo, Brazil 1971) in his "Atelier Abstração". He participated in international exhibitions and received several awards.
